Accelerating Asia is the leading startup engagement platform that connects investors, partners and clients to the best startups in Asia and beyond through acceleration, investment opportunities and engagement. Accelerating Asia’s early stage VC fund invests in the startups joining our flagship accelerator program. We also work with partners from government, multinationals and universities to customise startup engagement programs.
I’m the Co-Founder and General Partner at Accelerating Asia. As the General Partner, my main focus is on optimising and delivering value for our Limited Partners. I also work with the team to raise and manage funds, monitor and evaluate investment decisions and help our portfolio companies with fundraising. Outside of the VC fund, I lead engagement with the partners who we work with to deliver programs on the consulting side. My oversight also includes our operations and marketing team who handle the day to day activities of the accelerator and external affairs.
My Co-Founders Craig and I identified a gap in the market for an independent startup accelerator. So, we created Accelerating Asia to fill that gap. All of our activities are guided by the belief that entrepreneurs are one of humanity’s greatest catalysts for positive change. That’s something that we are both really passionate about and it comes across in how we work with startup founders to solve problems. In terms of startups, there’s so many founders and entrepreneurs doing amazing things, solving the challenges we face today. It’s not just founders, it’s the people doing good in their everyday lives and catalysing change that inspire me.
